Angela & David Key — Founders

Angela and David Key founded A&D Carpets & Hardwoods in 1977 with a simple belief — that hard work, integrity, and treating people like family would build something that lasts. Nearly fifty years later, the company is a reflection of that commitment. What began as their dream has grown into a family legacy, and one of their greatest joys is watching their children carry on the tradition of excellence they worked so hard to create.

Throughout the years, Angela and David have remained deeply involved in the business and the team behind it. They love seeing each employee feel like part of the A&D family, and they take immense pride in the people who help carry the company forward every day. Anyone who knows them knows their hearts for service — if there’s a way to support the community, they’re the first to say yes. They’re well known for showing up at local golf tournaments to help raise money and awareness for organizations across the CSRA, and they never hesitate to sponsor an event that gives back.

Becky Critell has been part of A&D Carpets & Hardwoods for nearly three decades, serving as Director of Operations and helping guide the company’s growth with a steady mix of expertise, leadership, and heart. With over 27 years of hands-on experience and an extensive list of industry certifications, Becky brings unmatched technical knowledge and problem-solving ability to the A&D team.

Her passion lies in fostering the growth and development of the staff — teaching product knowledge, industry standards, and best practices — and being the “solution finder” for any challenge that comes through the door. She still finds joy in watching customers transform their homes, knowing they’re getting the best product for their project and the guidance of a team that truly cares.

Davina Key-Strickland

Davina is the daughter of A&D’s founders, Angela and David Key   Growing up in the family business shaped her life in countless ways, and continuing her parents’ legacy is one of her greatest honors. She’s proud to play such a hands-on role in the company’s success and to make her parents proud every step of the way.

She laughs that her parents “voluntell” her for every commercial — probably because no one else wants to do them — but with her acting background, she’s the natural fit and doesn’t mind a bit. In fact, she’s proud to be the face and spokesperson for the family business.

Married for over 14 years, Davina is a mother to two adult sons, a teenage daughter, and a proud grandmother. After almost 30 years of raising kids, she’s learned to enjoy every bit of the chaos — and every quiet moment in between. With her youngest daughter still at home, Davina’s off-hours often include chauffeuring teenagers around town, laughing with them, and soaking in the fleeting moments of having “the last one still under her roof.”

Ashley Danielle Cain

Ashley Danielle Cain is from Augusta, GA and has been a dedicated part of A&D Carpets & Hardwoods for over 21 years. As Assistant Sales Manager and a Flooring Design Consultant, she brings a rare blend of experience, warmth, and professionalism that her clients genuinely adore.

Helping people is where Ashley shines. She loves guiding clients through their flooring choices — balancing style, durability, and budget — to bring their vision to life. Over the years, she has built countless long-lasting relationships, the kind that keep families coming back project after project. She consistently receives some of the highest reviews in the company, and it’s common for customers to walk in asking for her by name. Her clients trust her, refer her, and recommend her to anyone they know who needs flooring because they know she’ll always take great care of them.

Outside of A&D, Ashley is a proud wife and mom of four, and a fur-mama to two sweet dogs. She loves spending time outdoors with her family, gardening, and soaking up the sunshine.

Amanda Frazier

Amanda Frazier comes to A&D Carpets & Hardwoods from beautiful Santa Barbara, California, where she grew up with her parents and two older sisters. She has now been a valued part of the A&D team for over four years, bringing creativity, warmth, and a true passion for design to every project she touches.

Working at A&D, Amanda genuinely enjoys the process of helping homeowners find the perfect flooring and bringing their vision to life. She loves getting to know her clients through their unique and individual style, using that insight to cultivate thoughtful, creative, and exciting design plans. Her goal is always to make sure each client receives the highest quality flooring and a finished space they can be proud of.

Amanda is blessed with a big, beautiful family and is a proud aunt to four nephews and two nieces. Growing up, she spent much of her time playing team sports and taking dance classes—often right alongside her sisters. Today, she spends her free time with loved ones, listening to live music, watching stand-up comedy, or baking sweet treats to share with the A&D team. She also has a cat who thinks he runs the household… and he’s probably not wrong.

Kayla Harllee

Kayla has been a bright part of the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods team for the past five years, bringing optimism, curiosity, and an uncanny knack for spotting even the tiniest details. Originally from the South Carolina side of the river, she’s newly married and joyfully navigating life in a lively household that includes two bonus boys, a dog, and cats who are fully convinced they run the place.

In her role as Operations Assistant, Kayla keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes — and she also steps onto the showroom floor whenever needed to assist clients with the same care and positivity she brings to everything she does. A puzzle-loving problem solver, Kayla never turns down the chance to learn something new, whether it’s a useful skill, a fun fact, or a clever workaround.

Kayla strives to make each day just a little better than the last. And when adventure calls, she’s already packing a bag — always ready for anything from a spontaneous U.S. road trip to an international getaway. Her upbeat energy and quirky charm make her not just a valued member of the operations team, but the kind of teammate who makes work feel a little lighter and a lot more fun.

Nicole Lane

Joseph Stocum

Joseph Stocum has been a cornerstone of A&D Carpets & Hardwoods for over 25 years. A master installer with decades of hands-on experience, Joseph had the special honor of being trained directly by David Key himself — something he considers one of the greatest privileges of his career. He often says he was taught by one of the best, and it shows in the precision, craftsmanship, and pride he brings to every job.

As Director of Installations, Joseph loves meeting new people and working inside some of the most beautiful homes across Georgia and South Carolina. He is always looking for ways to learn something new every day. Whether it’s sharpening his skills, exploring new techniques, or finding better ways to serve clients, Joseph believes growth is a lifelong process. He enjoys listening to podcasts and diving into topics like health, faith, financial stewardship, and personal development — all of which help him become a better leader, husband, father, and man of faith.

Born and raised in Harlem, Georgia, he has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, strong attention to detail, and a steady professionalism that customers and coworkers truly appreciate.

What Evan enjoys most about his work is seeing customers happy and satisfied with the finished product. He values the connections he builds in each home and takes pride in knowing his work plays a part in improving someone’s daily life. His consistent quality and dedication have made him one of the most trusted lead technicians on the team.

Marty Ferrando

Marty has been proudly serving A&D Carpets & Hardwoods customers for over 13 years and brings more than 25 years of valuable experience to the flooring industry. Originally from Thomson, Georgia, he is known for his exceptional skill, consistency, and a work ethic that never quits. Marty takes great pride in seeing a home transform from old to beautifully new, and his dedication to quality has made him one of the most trusted lead technicians on the team.

A husband of 22 years, Marty is a proud father to six beautiful girls and one son. He and his family have also been foster parents for over eight years — a testament to the heart, patience, and compassion he brings into every part of his life.

Paul Megeaski

Paul has been a dedicated part of the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods installation team for over three years, bringing steady craftsmanship and pride to every project he touches. Originally from Hephzibah, Georgia, Paul is known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to ensuring each installation is finished with excellence.

One of Paul’s favorite parts of the job is witnessing the “wow” moment — seeing customers’ faces light up when they first walk into their newly transformed space. He takes great pride in the finished product and is driven by the satisfaction of knowing he played a part in creating a home his customers can love.

Paul and his wife share a blended family of five, keeping life busy, lively, and full of love. Outside of work, Paul enjoys working on cars and staying active with weight training — two passions that match his hands-on nature and drive for continual improvement.

Jacob Quinn Danner

Jacob has been a committed member of the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods installation team for over four years. Originally from Martinez, Georgia, he first joined the company after seeing an ad — and quickly proved himself to be a dedicated, skilled, and detail-oriented installer.

One of Jacob’s favorite parts of his work is seeing a project come together from start to finish. He takes great pride in the final product and loves seeing customers satisfied with their new floors. His craftsmanship and steady professionalism make him a trusted member of the installation department.

Outside of work, Jacob is passionate about music, enjoys learning new instruments, going on walks, exploring geopolitics, and taking vacations whenever he can. At home, he stays entertained thanks to his two cats, who are always part of the action.

Deantwan Jefferson

Installation Dept.

Deantwan has been a valued member of the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods installation team for over two years. Originally from North Augusta, South Carolina, he joined A&D for the excellent career opportunity and has since become a dependable, hardworking part of the department.

Known for having one of the best smiles in the company, Deantwan brings positivity everywhere he goes. His upbeat energy and warm personality make him a joy to work with and help put customers instantly at ease. He takes pride in his work and in contributing to the quality and care that A&D is known for.

Outside of work, Deantwan enjoys working on cars, playing chess, and unwinding with crime documentaries. He also appreciates the simple things — long walks on the beach and watching sunsets are among his favorite ways to relax.

Deantwan’s great attitude, reliability, and friendly presence make him a valued part of the A&D installation team.

Devin Fields

Installation Dept.

Devin joined the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods family seven months ago, coming to us from Hiram, Georgia. What started as simply applying for a job quickly turned into finding the right fit — and Devin has become a reliable, steady presence within the installation department.

He enjoys the hands-on nature of the work and especially loves the fun, memorable stories he gets to bring home from his interactions with customers. Devin has a laid-back, easygoing personality that makes him a great addition to the team and someone customers instantly feel comfortable with.

At home, Devin enjoys life with his wife and their three cats, who keep things interesting. When he’s not working, you’ll often find him unwinding with his Nintendo Switch — his favorite way to relax after a busy day.

Devin is continuing to grow in his role, and his positive attitude and willingness to learn make him a valued part of the A&D installation department.

Khalil Leslie

Khalil is one of the newest and brightest additions to the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods installation team. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, he joined the flooring world fresh out of high school, starting his career working alongside his best friend’s father. What began as an opportunity to learn a trade quickly grew into a passion — and Khalil brings that enthusiasm with him every day.

One of Khalil’s favorite parts of the job is the people. He appreciates the coworkers who make every day enjoyable, often leaving work smiling or laughing, and he values the customers whose stories he learns while transforming their homes. Seeing a homeowner’s reaction to their new flooring — the joy, the excitement, the sense of renewal — is what keeps him motivated.

Curious, driven, and always up for a challenge, Khalil loves testing his abilities and tackling difficult tasks just to see what he’s capable of. Outside of work, he’s passionate about cars and music, two things that give him an outlet for creativity and exploration.

Logan Kennedy

Installation Dept.

Logan joined the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods installation team five months ago and has quickly become a dependable and hardworking part of the department. Originally from Tennessee, he later moved out west as a kid, where he spent his childhood hunting, fishing, riding ATVs, and developing the hands-on skills that would eventually lead him into the trades.

Five years ago, Logan decided it was time to learn something new and expand his horizons — a choice that set him on the path to becoming a skilled flooring installer. His favorite part of the job is seeing the look on customers’ faces when their new flooring is completed. Knowing he can make a lasting difference in someone’s home is what motivates him every day. He also enjoys getting to meet different people and be part of transforming the spaces they live in.

Tannar Batchelor

Installation Dept.

Tannar has been a valued member of the A&D Carpets & Hardwoods installation team for over a year, bringing dependable workmanship and a genuine commitment to quality to every home he enters. Originally from North Augusta, South Carolina, he joined A&D after being given an opportunity he knew he couldn’t pass up — and he has been a strong addition to the team ever since.

Tannar’s favorite part of his job is the impact his work has on customers’ daily lives. He takes pride in improving living conditions, one home at a time, and believes every installation deserves careful attention to detail. Meeting new people and being able to serve the CSRA community motivates him to bring his best to each project.

Married for over four years, Tannar is a proud husband and father to two wonderful children, Lucas and Isabella. When he’s not at work, he enjoys watching baseball and football, as well as spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
